Mr. Herbst was able to meet up with Jesse and Emily Rider while in Vietnam. All our association schools have their mission offerings heading to them to support their ministry.

Busy weekend. ..
Our varsity girls volleyball team hosted the BCS conference this weekend using both gyms. They had a great day and ended it with a runner-up finish.
This weekend our Football team finished their season with a win, bringing them to 5-4, the first winning season in our 8-man history. Thanks to ML senior, Jonah Eggert for his time in the program.
Our Middle School 8th grade team took firSt place at their year end tourney beating Lakeshore in 3 sets to bring home 1st place.
Our Ambassadors helped with the Middle School dance at the Titan Center.

Senior Service Day! Way to let your lights shine, Titans!
On Sunday, the Board of Regents also called Mr. Jacob Mathena to a permanent call to serve as Social Studies instructor and male dorm supervisor. Please keep him in your prayers as he decides on this permanent call to ML.
This past Sunday, the Board of Regents at MLHS called Mr. Andrew Schoenfeld to serve as our next Athletic Director and coach. Mr. Schoenfeld currently serves at Holy Cross Lutheran School in Madison, WI. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he decides where the Lord can best use his gifts to serve in His Kingdom.
We ask for prayers for a safe and successful trip for Mr. Herbst as he travels to SE Asia this week and next. He will be in Thailand, China, and Vietnam. He hit the ground running with an educational fair the same day he landed, had student/parent meetings, and visited international schools in Chiang Mai. He'll head out to China on Thursday for a few days and then spend the next week in Vietnam. We pray God blesses this trip with many new opportunities to showcase ML to new international families!
Tonight is Parents' Night for our Varsity Volleyball team. It's also the final game in regular season play for our Seniors. Come on out and support your Titans!

Thank you to the members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Wyoming, MI for your warm welcome as the Festival Singers began our ML Sundays for the year.
The volleyball team will have their grade school night match on Wednesday, October 11. We welcome all the grade school students to come out and cheer the Titans on! If you were part of a volleyball team this year come to ML at 5 p.m. You will have the opportunity to meet with the Varsity team and learn the cheers they use during the games. Then you can sit behind the team while they play. We are excited to host this event for the schools and look forward to seeing those bleachers full of Titan fans.
