We hope everyone had a great weekend! We have been learning about Spring and enjoying the warm weather. We also learned about how the weather changes in Spring and it rains... a lot! We had our Easter egg hunt inside this year but the kiddos had just as much fun. One thing is for sure - where there is rain, there are rainbows! In the spirit of Spring, our Preschool class honed their fine motor skills with a rainbow craft🌦🌈 to top it all off, we had a special lunch and a family dinner!

Happy St Ptrick's Day! Thank you to our families that joined us on Saturday for the St Joe's 40th annual St Patrick's Day Parade🍀 our staff worked hard making bags to hand out as well as a parade float for the kiddos to ride on! Today we ate some green snacks to celebrate. The preschoolers made a shamrock craft and the toddlers practiced their fine motor skills making yummy rainbow bracelets. To top it all off, a leprechaun made our lunch green with gold (banana) coins! We can't wait to celebrate this holiday again next year😊

Duties

Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting to meet each child's individual needs.
Monitor and document developmental milestones, behaviors, and progress of each child.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
Support children's socialization skills through engaging activities that encourage interaction and cooperation.
Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior and emotional well-being.
Ensure adherence to licensing requirements, safety protocols, and best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

Prior experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques.
Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are preferred, but training will be provided if not already certified.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
Experience with behavior management strategies suitable for young children.
Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and team members.
Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as feeding, diapering, and supervising active children.
Reliable, patient, caring attitude with a genuine passion for early childhood education. This position is ideal for individuals committed to fostering the growth of young children through attentive care and educational support in a professional childcare setting.
Ability and drive to obtain an online Montessori certificate

The preschool room has been exploring different painting mediums this month. We did salt painting, painting with forks, and mud painting! Using different mediums is a great way to let kids experiment with their art and express themselves!🎨🖌
