🚗💦 BREAKING NEWS: The water bottles have officially taken over the family car.

They’re under the seats. Rolling around in the trunk. Hiding in backpacks. And somehow, nobody knows which one belongs to them.

Every morning, a child announces, “MOM! WHERE’S MY WATER BOTTLE?!”

Apparently, the 14 already living in the car are unacceptable. 😂

At this point, the water bottles have their own zip code.

Kids have a funny way of telling us what’s going on.

Sometimes it’s with words.

Sometimes it’s with a dinosaur smashing into a block tower 47 times. 😅

That’s one of the reasons I love Play Therapy Coaching.

Play gives kids a way to show what they’re feeling when the words just aren’t there yet. Through games, art, pretend play, movement, and hands-on activities, we can work on things like frustration, confidence, problem-solving, coping skills, and those really big feelings.

And parents get support too.

I help parents understand what may be happening underneath the behavior and give them ideas they can actually use at home.

Because when a child is melting down, shutting down, or exploding over something that seems tiny… there’s usually a lot more going on underneath.

Play helps us get there.

Took the kids to the pumpkin patch this weekend.

Now Halloween is apparently tomorrow.

🎃 Costume has been discussed 47 times.
🎃 Candy has been discussed 83 times.

And someone has already asked when we’re carving the pumpkin.

It is October 5. 😂

Anybody else accidentally launch Halloween season with one innocent trip to the pumpkin patch?
