OSA staff Christmas party is always so much fun with this bunch. Merry Christmas!!

I have received some questions regarding a recent announcement made at One Step Ahead. I wanted to post a letter that was sent to our families so there would be no confusion about the future of OSA in our community. Please feel free to share this information.

Good afternoon OSA families,

We wanted to inform you of some changes that may be coming to One Step Ahead. After some careful consideration we have decided it is time to pursue a possible change in ownership as well as the directors position at One Step Ahead. Darlene and I have both had some recent life changes and just feel at this time what is best for our program is to look at making a change in these positions.

Our primary concern in making this change will be the care of our families and employees. It is our intent to find someone to take over that will care for One Step Ahead the way we have and continue with the AMAZING family we have built here in the last twenty years. OSA provides an invaluable service to our community and we want nothing more than to see that service continue as smoothly as possible during this time of transition.

You can be assured you will continue to see the same quality care you always have at One Step Ahead while we pursue new potential owners and administrators. This change is just in the beginning stages so this is something that could take months or years but we felt it was best to keep our families informed as we did not want any conversations making their way to our OSA community that did not have merit or for our families to be unnecessarily concerned about the future of One Step Ahead at this time. Those that have been part of our OSA family for years know we have always tried to be upfront and honest about the day to day of our business. We will be available to answer any questions or field any concerns you may have so please feel free to reach out to Tiffany or Darlene and one of us will get with you as soon as we are able.

Are you someone that enjoys working with children? Would you like to work for a great company in a team environment? One Step Ahead has immediate openings for full time employees. We offer benefits such as paid education and flexible schedules to further your education, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays,dental, and vision benefits as well as childcare assistance. We also offer sign on and referral bonuses. Full time positions available would be 4 days per week from 730 to 5:00. One Step Ahead will not be open today per policy of closing when the SJSD does due to inclement weather.
