***Two nights a month!*** Adults are invited to the Casual Commander Club at the East Hills Library on Thursday, June 11 and Thursday, June 25 at 6 p.m. This is a club for all those who love Magic the Gathering! Bring your own Magic the Gathering commander format* deck to battle and destroy your friends and strangers! The Commander format involves picking your hero and building a deck around them. In this casual, multiplayer format, you choose a legendary creature to serve as your commander and build the rest of your deck around their color identity and unique abilities. The deck must have 100 cards, including your commander and power level 8 and under decks recommended. Time to devour your enemies!

The library is proud to present Oscar winning broadcaster, Andrew McCrea, host of the American Countryside radio program. He has traveled all across our great country for his work. To help us celebrate America's 250th Anniversary, Mr. McCrea will regale us with tales of wit and humor featuring revolutionary war sites he has visited and featured in his syndicated broadcasts.

Te invitamos a practicar tus habilidades de español o inglés en este Club de Conversación. Los participantes trabajarán en parejas para ayudarse mutuamente a mejorar sus habilidades de habla en ambos idiomas. Si estás aprendiendo español o inglés, este es un excelente lugar para practicar sin prejuicios.

Los lunes de junio por la tarde, a las 6 p.m. en la Biblioteca East Hills. Para adultos, no es necesario registrarse.

You are invited to work on your Spanish or English language skills at this Conversation Club. Participants will work in matched pairs to help each other improve their spoken language skills in both languages. If you are learning either Spanish or English this is a great place to practice in a judgement free zone.

On Mondays in June at 6:30 p.m. at the East Hills Library. For adults, no registration required.
