New semester, new chance to make a difference! We're jumping right into action this year to help celebrate "Hunger Action Month"!

Join the Center for Service on Friday, September 4th for National Food Bank Day!

We'll be joining Second Harvest to help sort, pack, and prepare nutritious food that will be distributed to families across 18 counties in Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas.

Your time will have an incredible impact, helping support programs like Backpack Buddies, Campus Cupboards, Senior Boxes, and mobile food distributions—bringing hope to thousands of our neighbors.

Only 20 volunteer spots are available. Spots will go fast, so sign up now before they're gone and start your semester off by getting involved!

It’s National Nonprofit Day!

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible nonprofit organizations and community partners who work every day to make our communities stronger, more compassionate, and more connected.

To the organizations who serve, the volunteers who show up, the staff who pour their hearts into their missions, and everyone who gives their time, talents, and resources to help others, we say "thank you"! Your work matters, and the impact you make reaches far beyond what you may ever see.

The MoWest Center for Service is grateful for the countless community partners who open their doors to our students and give them opportunities to learn, serve, and make a difference.
