Yesterday we celebrated the retirement of Mrs. Andrea Klein! Andrea has devoted 18 years to St. Joseph School with early morning playground duty and cooking and serving food in our cafeteria. She has loved all of the years of watching the children grow. We will miss her very much, but we wish her years of happiness enjoying her grandchildren and adventures with her husband. Thank you, Mrs. Klein and God Bless You!

Last Friday, the 3rd graders traveled down M-21 to St. Joseph Catholic School in Pewamo to meet up with their 2nd/3rd grade pen pals. Since February, the “Comets” and “Braves” have exchanged letters to get to know one another while practicing their letter-writing skills. During the meet-and-greet, the students played together, enjoyed lunch, and attended Mass.
Mr. Hoffman also had the special opportunity to spend time with his favorite 3rd grader—his daughter from St. Joseph-Pewamo—during the visit.
The Comets would like to thank St. Joseph-Pewamo for its warm welcome and hospitality.
