A part-time opportunity!

Our before and after school program (established August, 2019) is looking for 2-3 substitute teachers.

This is a role for someone who loves children and wants to make a difference in the lives of others. We provide care for children ages PK-5th in the Lucy Worthem James Elementary school in St. James.

A substitute works in all 3 of our classrooms with all of the grades on a very part-time basis. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule that is willing to take direction from the main teacher and jump into the helper role when needed.

A substitute needs to be at least 16 years old, able to pass a background check and drug test, and be willing to interact with the children.

Today we had a special visit from St. James Police Department and St James Fire Department!

We have a few before and after school spaces available when school starts on August 25th!

Tigercubs/Kindergarten openings: 4

1st/2nd grade openings: 6

3rd/4th/5th grade openings: 1

Weekly Rate:
* $90/week for after school care (1st child) and $80/ week per additional child (full time)

OR

* $22/day per child for part time care (1-4 days)

AS AN ADDITIONAL ADD ON
* $20/week flat rate for before school care

Each week we offer:
* Bible Lessons
* Art Projects
* STEM Projects
* Outdoor and indoor play
* Reading and Writing fun
* Opportunities for the children to show their leadership skills
* Homework time
* Weekly Friday fun days

Our team consists of people that have lots of experience working with school age children, enjoy spending time with them, are up to date on CPR/First Aid Certification, and are always working on bettering their skill sets!

Children must be in the St. James school district and going all day at Lucy Worthem James Elementary to enroll.
