There is a slow movement being born in clothing. Textiles make up the largest part of land fills children are living on...our garbage. Every child is every person's child.
In addition to this, the production of cloths are very toxic to the environment, for Example; bamboo is sustainable plant. China has the proprietary rights for its process into cloth yet even though bamboo is "organic" the process used is similar to the process used in producing rayon, which is very toxic. This goes into our collective waterways, water is fast becoming as precious as gold. And the damage to the marine life is equally as unfair for all.
These cloths are worn next to your skin which is the largest organ of the body and absorbs what is put against it.
There still remains a pesticide runoff from cotton production at the mouth of the Mississippi extending as large as the State of New Jersey. This part of the Gulf of Mexico is a dead zone. Our oceans are being impacted on an alarming rate.
We all need to consider becoming vegan - humanity for animals - and to keep our oceans from falling completely dead by the year 2048. This is for all life on Earth. I eat Vegan! It's kind to our planet and kind to my body.
The death screams from the farmed animals are in the flesh you eat of that animal. This is what your body digests.
In ten years one in every two children will be autistic. We need to step up to the plate Now.
