Want to help make a difference in our community AND have a little fun while doing it? ❤️

We’re looking for more volunteers for our Pop Bottle Pickup Crew! 🥤💰

Here’s how it works:

📅 One-week rotation: Friday through Thursday
🚚 Pick up the bottles from the trailer
🥤 Take them over to the Beltz Barn
📦 Sort them and get them ready to go!

The best part? The more volunteers we have, the less often each person has to do a rotation! 🙌

Whether it was 10¢, $100, or even $1,000 worth over the course of the year, every single donation matters. ♻️🥤

Whether you’ve lived in our community or you’re just visiting, your generosity year after year is what makes it possible for us to light up the skies over Saint Helen. ✨

I wish I could personally thank every one of you because YOU are the biggest force behind the Saint Helen Fireworks. We simply couldn’t do this without you. ❤️

A special thank you to the incredible volunteers who collect cans in their own vehicles, sort them, and haul them. 🚗♻️ Your countless hours of hard work often go unseen, but they never go unappreciated. 👏

Behind every incredible fireworks show is a team of volunteers working hard behind the scenes—and today we want to recognize one very special group.
Thank you to everyone who volunteers to collect the returnable bottles from the trailer behind the Township Hall. These bottles are loaded into personal vehicles, taken to our pole barn to be sorted, and then returned to distributors. It’s a lot of work, and it takes many helping hands to keep the process going.

🍦🎆 I screamed, you screamed, WE ALL screamed for ice cream… and WOW, did our community show up! ❤️🤍💙

Because of everyone who came out for ice cream, St. Helen Realty generously donated $500 to the St. Helen Fireworks Fund. But it gets even better…

🎉 The Snowpackers have stepped up to the plate and MATCHED that donation dollar for dollar! 🎉

💥 That’s $1,000 raised to help keep the skies over St. Helen shining bright for years to come!

To everyone who bought an ice cream cone, shared our posts, volunteered, donated, or simply showed your support—THANK YOU. Every single person made a difference. This is what makes our small town so special. ❤️

You never disappoint, and this year’s July 3rd fireworks spectacular was nothing short of incredible! 💥✨ Thank you for helping us celebrate 250 years of American independence with a show that brought our community together and lit up the skies in unforgettable fashion.

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Last night was more than a fireworks show—it was a celebration of freedom. 💥✨

As the first firework lit up the sky, I couldn’t help but become emotional. To many, fireworks are just beautiful colors and loud booms. But to me, every explosion of light represented something much greater. 💙

Each firework reminded me of the brave men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform—those who fought for our freedom, those who continue to serve today, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can gather with our families beneath peaceful skies. 🎖️⭐🙏

We often hear the words, “Freedom isn’t free,” but last night, I truly felt them. ❤️ Every burst of red, white, and blue was a reminder of courage, sacrifice, hope, and the unwavering American spirit. 🇺🇸✨

As patriotic songs filled the air 🎶 and thousands of people stood together looking toward the sky 🌟, I was reminded how incredibly blessed we are to live in a country where we can celebrate, laugh, hug our loved ones, and enjoy the freedoms so many have fought to protect. ❤️🤍💙

Last night wasn’t just about fireworks. 💥 It was about remembering. It was about honoring. It was about being grateful. 🙏

Thank you for keeping St. Helen safe during all of our 4th of July celebrations, especially during "The Best Show in the North" fireworks display. Managing the crowds, traffic, and pedestrian zones is no easy task, but you all make this massive event run seamlessly every single year.We certainly appreciate each and every one of you for your hard work, dedication, and for keeping our community safe while we celebrate. Thank you for all you do! 🇺🇸✨

🎆 **Celebrate Safely This Fourth of July!** 🇺🇸

As you celebrate Independence Day, Richfield Township Public Safety reminds everyone to enjoy fireworks responsibly and follow Michigan law.

Here are a few important reminders:

🎇 **Only use consumer fireworks during the legal dates and times allowed under Michigan law.**

🚫 **Never light fireworks while intoxicated.** Alcohol and fireworks are a dangerous combination. If you've been drinking or using drugs, leave the fireworks to someone who is sober.

🏞️ **Do not light fireworks on public property.** This includes parks, roadways, sidewalks, school property, and other public spaces unless specifically authorized. Fireworks should only be used on property where you have permission.

👨‍👩‍👧 Keep children and pets at a safe distance, and never allow young children to handle fireworks.
