❤️🖤 TOMORROW IS THE DAY, VIPERS! 🐍

We can’t wait to welcome our Valor Vipers to campus for the very first time tomorrow! Here are a few important reminders to help everyone have a smooth first day:

🚗 CAR DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
The building opens at 7:15 AM. Cars will enter from FM 1518 at the Valor sign, stay to the right, and continue around the back of the football field. Student drop-off is near the cafeteria. There is no student drop-off in the front of the school. Afternoon pick-up will follow the same route.

🚌 BUS RIDERS
Buses will drop students off on the side of the building closest to the tennis courts.

🥞 BREAKFAST & MORNING ARRIVAL
All students will have the opportunity to eat breakfast in the cafeteria. At 7:30, 6th and 8th graders will transition to the gyms to allow for plenty of seating and a smooth start to the day.

📄 STUDENT SCHEDULES
Every student will receive a fresh copy of their schedule tomorrow. For most students, nothing has changed since Meet the Teacher Night. There is no need to send the draft schedule from last week. We’ll have everything they need!

🐍 ENTERING CAMPUS
Tomorrow, our Vipers will enter the building on their own! We’ll have plenty of Valor staff throughout campus ready to welcome students, help them find their way, and make sure they feel supported.

🏫 CAMPUS VISITORS & LUNCH
As we begin our regular campus procedures, parents and visitors will not enter the building during the school day. Families may drop off a lunch for their child if needed, but visitors will not be able to eat with students in the cafeteria.

📱 CELL PHONES
As we transition out of summer mode, please talk with your child about keeping their phone put away during the school day. Your support in helping our Vipers get back into their school-day routines is greatly appreciated!

We know tomorrow is a big day for our students and we are ready for them. ❤️🖤

Please see the attached flyer for information on how to purchase uniforms for PE and athletics. Email [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions.

If your child is a 6th grader in pre-athletics, they will wear the PE uniform. If they are a 7th or 8th grader in athletics, they will wear the athletic uniform. 7th and 8th graders in PE wear PE uniforms. Schedules can be checked on Parent Portal or Talking Points.

If you cannot see the schedule on the portal, your registration may not be complete!

2026-2027 ECISD Bus Schedules Are Now Available!

Families can now view their student's general education bus stop information, including pickup and drop-off times, by visiting:

Before searching, please remember:
• Enter your house number and street name only for the best results.
• Have students at their assigned bus stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
• If your student is assigned a DTD (Door-to-Door) stop, please have them waiting at the end of your driveway where the driver can safely see them.

Important for the 2026-2027 school year:

1. With the opening of Victory Elementary School and Valor Middle School, several attendance boundaries have changed. Please review your student's bus information carefully.

2. Salado Leadership Academy and Pecan Valley STEM Academy students who live in the Tradition, Oak Crest, Salado and Harmony attendance areas will ride an Oak Crest bus before shuttling to their campus. Afternoon transportation will follow the same process in reverse.

3. Families with Heritage students who live north of U.S. Highway 87 East to the district boundary will now attend Valor Middle School.

4. Special Needs transportation routes are still being finalized. Families receiving Special Needs transportation will be contacted by ECISD staff with route information as the first day of school approaches.
