Recently, in a conversation with a friend about researching family history, we talked about technology and the amazing changes it is making upon our world in so many ways. It is honestly intriguing and it is scary! President Thomas S. Monson once said about technology that Science Fiction has become our reality.

Well, technology is growing and the tools that are available is helping us in leaps and bounds to find our Family History. For those who are frightened by this, take courage and embrace the tools that God has given us to solve mysteries in our family history. I believe we need to be brave as we face using (AI, Ancestry, Family Search), open and courageous to face the many skeletons that will surface because every family has them, and trust in God to guide us to the truth. He will let us know in our hearts.

I am intrigued by this phrase that I have heard among people who have worked diligently on their family history "I can trace my ancestry back to Adam and Eve." Then, I worked with a young man one summer who logged into his Family Search account and showed me how he was able to follow his father's line back to Adam. I was amazed and since then have learned how it is possible to trace back from Father to Father to Father, etc.
