Utah Public Lands Alliance has been fighting to keep and improve access to our public lands for all responsible users, not just a privileged few
Big day for OHV riders! Yesterday we got the executive order signed that eliminates those outdated 1970s minimization criteria. First time a U.S. president has officially recognized the value of OHV recreation. This changes everything for public land access going forward. Huge thanks to everyone who supported us!

Breaking News-President Trump signed an Executive Order that rescinds the 1970s Era Executive Orders that have been the basis for the Minimization Criteria. The Minimization Criteria is one the principal tools used by extreme conservation legal machines to close our roads and trails. It is at the root of all the radical closures of the last few years.
UPLA and BlueRibbon Coalition made elimination of this our prime objective last year, and we got a willing ear in The White House. In fact, I am all packed and leaving for Washington tomorrow morning, and one of our meetings is at The White House to discuss this very order.
More information will follow, but take time to read the EO, you’ll find that the benefits of Off Road Vehicle Use are mentioned almost a dozen times.
Times are changing, but we still have a lot of work to do, stay engaged.
Removing Unnecessary and Counterproductive Restrictions on Access to Federal Lands By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered: Section 1. Purpose.
The Outdoor Americans with Disabilities Act is important to retain access to our public lands for all Americans. Tell your legislators to support this.
Mike chats with Roy from Sand Hollow State park during Matt’s Off-Road Games.
The Public Lands Rule: A rule that gave power to lease public lands to private groups — who can then lock out everyone else. Access to massive areas of public land could vanish overnight.
Let’s all enjoy our great outdoors safely and responsibly.
