📢 Early Dismissal Reminder This Thursday and Friday!

All K–5 students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28.

These are our Elementary Diagnostic Assessment Days.

Students will eat lunch before they leave, and students who normally ride the bus will be able to ride the bus home at noon on both days.

Please make sure you have a plan for your student’s early dismissal. Thank you for your help and support! 💚

🎶 Diamond Valley Diamondbacks Choir! 🎶

Does your 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader LOVE to sing? We’re excited to kick off another great year of Diamondbacks Choir! 💚

Choir will begin Wednesday, September 16th and will meet Wednesday mornings from 8:00–8:45 AM in the auditorium.
Students should enter through the outside door located parallel to the playground and arrive on time. If your child rides the bus, please make other transportation arrangements for choir mornings.

Our choir students will have opportunities to perform at special events throughout the year, including the Dickens Festival, Tuacahn, Kite Festival, holiday performances, and more!

We are looking for students who are highly motivated, love to sing, and are ready to make a commitment to attendance, performances, and positive attitudes. We know our Diamondbacks Choir is going to have another AMAZING year! 🐍🎶

Help us give a big WELCOME to Coach Sione! We’re excited to have him join the Diamond Valley Diamondbacks family and can’t wait to see all the fun and learning he brings to PE this year! 💚🐍

Here’s a message from Coach Sione:
Aloha and hello! My name is Coach Sione, and I am so excited to be teaching PE at your school! A little bit about me: I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. My educational journey began at Utah State University, included a quick stop at Snow College, and wrapped up at Dixie State University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Individualized Studies with an emphasis in Integrated Physical Health and Coaching.

This is my second year teaching physical education, and I am truly living my dream job! My favorite children’s book is No, David! by David Shannon, and my favorite book series is Goosebumps by R.L. Stine. Outside of the gym, I love spending time with my wife and children, hiking, working out, playing golf and playing the guitar. I can't wait for a fun year ahead!

🍗 A New Menu Favorite! 🍗

Today we tried a NEW menu item—Chicken Parmesan-spaghetti and sauce, chicken strips, and a cheesy garlic breadstick! 🍝🧀🍗

I think it’s safe to say… they loved it! 😋💚 In fact, some of our students who brought lunch from home were a little bummed they missed out! 😂 Looks like we have a winner!
