Sara, one of our first years wanted to share some information about her preceptor, Tatum!
This is Tatum’s first full year with the Utah Tech’s men’s soccer team. She has been with Utah Tech since she graduated in 2024. She is great with emergency care, rehabilitative care, and teaching future AT’s. Sara is a UT MAT 1st year that gained lots of experience during her weeks with Tatum and the program. She has gotten to help with rehabilitation, acute care, and preventative wellness!

Happy LAST DAY of National Athletic Training Month!
As part of National Athletic Training Month we wanted to highlight and thank all of our wonderful preceptors!
Last, but definitely not least, we’re shouting out our awesome NON-LOCAL PRECEPTORS! We encourage all our students to participate in at least one non-local immersion during their 2nd year in the program. So much work goes into getting our students into clinical sites across the country and our preceptors play a big role in making it happen! THANK YOU for all you do!

Our next ✨SECOND-YEAR SPOTLIGHT✨ is for Chandler!
Chandler has been loving his time at Skyridge High School and is looking forward to the rest of the season!
Some FUN FACTS about Chandler’s immersion:
-Chandler is working with 3 other students at Skyridge
-He is the self-appointed DJ of the AT room
-2 of the football coaches at Skyridge coached Chandler in high school and he has loved getting to work alongside them (especially helping out with the long snappers)
We are so proud of you Chandler!
