Shirts can also be purchased from the PTA at the Open House. The are $5. Please bring cash if possible.

Hello! My name is Dallas Dixon, and I’m excited to join Legacy Elementary this school year as the Title I Coordinator. This will be my 15th year in education. Throughout my career, I have taught both 5th and 3rd grade, and for the past eight years, I have served as a Title I Coordinator. I’m passionate about supporting students, collaborating with teachers, and partnering with families to help every child succeed.

I’m originally from Washington State, but I’ve called the St. George area home for the past 20 years. My wife, Melissa, and I have three children: Molly (15), Tate (12), and Tanner (10). Outside of school, I enjoy coaching and cheering on my kids in their many sports and activities. As a family, we love spending time outdoors—whether we’re riding our RZR, hiking, or enjoying sports together. I’m also a huge Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners fan!

I’m looking forward to getting to know the wonderful students, families, and staff at Legacy Elementary. I’m excited for a fantastic school year and all the opportunities it will bring!

Hello everyone! My name is Arturo Dominguez, and I’m excited to be joining the Legacy Elementary family. I grew up in Mexico City and moved to Utah over 25 years ago. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to teach in schools here in the U.S. and overseas in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Every place has taught me something new, and I’ve come to appreciate how much we can all learn from one another.

I love creating classrooms where students feel safe, curious, and excited to learn. I believe books, language, and kindness have the power to change lives because they certainly changed mine. I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone at Legacy. I can already tell it’s a special place, and I’m grateful to be here!

Hi! My name is Kaylee Anderson, and I am so excited to be a first-grade teacher at Legacy Elementary School! I grew up in Fairview, Utah, and have always loved the sense of community that comes from small-town life. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, sewing, fishing, and playing pickleball. My journey to becoming a teacher began at Snow College, and I recently completed my Elementary Education degree at Southern Utah University with a minor in Special Education. I feel incredibly grateful to begin my teaching career at Legacy!

I believe the best learning happens when children feel excited to come to school each day. My goal is to create a classroom where kindness, curiosity, and a love of learning are at the heart of everything we do. I'm so grateful to be part of the Legacy community and look forward to getting to know the wonderful students, families, and staff who make this school such a special place!
