Please join us in congratulating Captain Bob Tibbitts on his new role with our Police Department! 💙❤️

Captain Tibbitts was recently sworn in as Captain and Deputy Director of Public Safety, bringing more than 18 years of diverse public safety experience to our campus community. Throughout his career with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Springdale Police Department and Hurricane City Police Department, he has built a strong record of leadership, officer development, community safety and service.

We’re excited to welcome Captain Tibbitts to our Trailblazer family and look forward to the experience and leadership he’ll bring to our campus and community. Congratulations, Captain Tibbitts! 👏

We also want to congratulate Sergeant Mike Peacock and Corporal Krystal Allred on their rank advancements! Thank you for your continued dedication to serving and protecting our campus community. We’re grateful to have you on our team!

‘A launchpad for your future’: Utah Tech program prepares middle schoolers for STEM careers Utah Tech University just completed another year of its nearly decade-old summer program, UT Prep, designed to challenge middle school students interested in STEM.

Last week's Service Saturday was a success! Our Trailblazers gathered together to serve local organizations while also connecting with each other and the community. Thank you to everyone who participated. 💙❤️

Nine new programs are coming to the College of Science, Engineering & Technology this fall!

New programs include:
💙 Master of Science in Genomics
❤️ Master of Artificial Intelligence
💙 Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology
❤️ Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity
💙 Bachelor of Applied Studies in Information Technology
❤️ Quality Assurance & Quality Control Certificate
💙 Certificate in Cybersecurity
❤️ Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Applied AI & Machine Learning

We can’t wait to see where these new programs take our students and the partnerships, ideas and opportunities they’ll create along the way.
