George Washington Academy is an academically rigorous free public charter school serving Grades K-7.
We offer full-day kindergarten, advanced coursework, and character education in addition to the state core requirements. Most subjects are taught a minimum of one grade level ahead as a standard.

🔔 Tomorrow, August 13th, is the first day of school!!
🏫 School begins promptly at 8:15 a.m.
⏰ At 7:45 a.m. the front doors furthest to the east open for breakfast. The double doors adjacent to the back playground and main front doors open for all students at 7:50 a.m.
🧇 Breakfast is FREE for ALL students every day!
🍕 Lunch is FREE for ALL students every Friday!
🚗 Each year we anticipate afternoon pick-up taking a little bit longer the first two weeks of school compared to the rest of the year. Please be patient and make sure that you have established a pick-up location with your children/carpool, as this will help the lines move more efficiently!
