We are very excited about this!
We will be offering a scholarship up to a $1200 per semester ($2400 total) to the PRESIDENT of Pasefika Student Union (PSU) on the Multicultural Inclusion Student Association (MISA) for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
You can apply by filling out CIB Student Club President (MISA) Leadership Scholarship Application. Priority application is ASAP. Once the application is received, qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview by the scholarship committee. Then, we will make an offer to the most qualified candidate.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicant must posses at lease one historically underrepresented identity.
- Enrolled as a full time, with 12+ credits as an undergraduate student at Utah Tech.
- Have and maintain a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Must have completed the FAFSA application and provide award/denial letter***
- Able to participate in an online interview.

COMMITMENTS:
- The position will be required to work approximately 8 hours a week to further the mission and goals of the Center of Inclusion and Belonging, Multicultural Inclusion Student Association.
- Planning and facilitating activities/events for MISA and PSU
- Be a member of the Activities Branch
- Attending CIB activities/events
- Submit a timely mid-term grade check
- Demonstrate respect and inclusivity of all historically underrepresented populations.

To celebrate this month of Asian American and PACIFIC ISLANDERS, the DSU PISA Presidency introduces this week's events. Calling all Pacific Islanders on campus to rep that island spirit and participate in our Spirit Week! We stand together united and share piece by piece of our culture with everyone in the world.
P.S. If you are not a Pacific Islander and you want to participate, you are more than welcome to join us. Come out and have fun; all positive vibes here!

A two-day community service event, what a success! Thank you to all the representatives who accompanied us on our community service project and assisted us in running the concession stands. Your hard work will not go unnoticed. Keep that Pacific Island mentality and best of luck on your upcoming Mid-terms!

Attention PISA members & all,
This Friday we will be having practice for the Intercollegiate Luau. Be ready to strap up and bring that island flavor to our practices. Bring your roommates, family, and friends to practice, for they too are able to participate in this event.
p.s. this is not only for Pacific Islander students. If you are interested in joining PISA, you have an opportunity.

PISA will be having a fundraiser at Panda Express this Friday from 4 pm- 10 pm. Please come out to support. The funds will be going towards our club. Please share with your friends and loved ones.
