WMES Families,

As many of you know, Williams Memorial Elementary is working closely with the St. George Police Department to improve traffic flow in our car rider line. This effort comes in direct response to concerns and complaints we received about our previous process, and we are committed to finding a solution that is safer and more efficient for everyone.

Change of this kind takes some trial and error, and we recognize that the adjustments so far have caused frustration for some families. We appreciate your patience as we test different approaches and work through this process together. Our goal is a car rider line that keeps students safe and gets families on their way as quickly as possible, and we are confident that with your continued support, we will get there.

Dorchester School District Four invites community stakeholders to participate in our Mentoring Program Orientation on Monday, August 17.

Two sessions are available:
• 9:00 AM: In-person session, with breakfast provided
• 6:00 PM: Virtual session via Zoom

Please register using the QR code on the flyer. A Zoom link will be provided to those who select the virtual session.

Beginning Monday, August 3, 2026, bus route information for the 2026-2027 school year will be available in the My Ride K-12 app. If you have questions about your student's transportation, please contact the DD4 Transportation Department.

Greetings, Tiger Family.

Williams Memorial Elementary will host our annual Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, August 3rd, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. To ensure a timely bus dismissal on August 5th, it is highly recommended that school and bus registrations are completed before Wednesday, August 5th.

Parents of bus riders should download the My Ride K12 App for bus route information. If you have any questions about school registration, contact Williams Memorial Elementary School at (843) 563-3231.

Transportation information will be available on the My Ride K12 app on Monday, August 3, 2026. Any question once posted, please call the transportation office at (843) 636-5001

Transportation changes should be emailed by the parent to the school receptionist.

No changes should be emailed to the Transportation Director or Transportation department. These changes are handed at the school level exclusively if for a week or less.
