✨Luck to Lunch with the Mayor! ☘️ 🌈

Yesterday, as part of our Leader In Me school program, three of our outstanding students—Kate, Ellie, and Declan—had the incredible opportunity to have lunch with Mayor Michele Randall of St. George! They were also joined by Police Chief Kyle Whitehead, making it an unforgettable experience.

Not only did they enjoy a great meal, but they also got a behind-the-scenes tour of the City Office building, exploring key rooms and even witnessing the ☎️ dispatch center in live action!

A huge ❤️thank you to Mayor Randall and Chief Whitehead for taking the time to inspire and engage with our students. Moments like these help shape the future leaders of our community!

Last week, Freedom Prep Academy St. George officially received our Utah STEM Schools designation as a STEM Gold school! Congratulations to our students, teachers, staff, and family for such a big accomplishment!

The STEM schools designation program allows schools to engage in discussions with faculty and community partners around STEM education as a lens for strong instruction for students to prepare them for college and career readiness. The designation also serves as an indicator for members of the public who are looking for STEM school experiences in Utah K-12 education. Schools that have identified a passion for STEM education benefit from the opportunity for reflection and recognition through this program.

It’s Spelling Bee 🐝 week at FPA!

Each of our elementary schools are holding their classroom and grade level spelling bees this week! We know a lot of our students, and parents put hard work and study time into this tradition.
