“Within” is the song I wrote that led to my first record deal with Warner Music signed by legendary producer David Foster. I first wrote Within as a solo piano piece. Once signed to a label we decided to add a full orchestra which hearing live orchestra with my music was probably the most exhilarating musical experience I had had in my life. Which do you prefer? We filmed the “Arwen’s Vigil” video at @thankspoint in Lehi, UT. One minute we had the sun, then the next rain, then snow, then sun again. The constant battle between clouds and sun match the conflict between despair and hope in the story and in the music of this song.
