It’s official! 🎉 Our Inclusive playground is under construction! Get ready for some fun times ahead! 🚧🪁

We’re thrilled to share some incredible news! After a year of unwavering commitment and collective action, our dream of building an inclusive playground is finally set to become a reality this summer!

Our journey began nearly 18 months ago, fueled by the belief that together, we could make a significant difference for our students. The power of unity and shared goals was so evident in this project, and we’re incredibly grateful for every person who played a part in this endeavor.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to each individual who contributed to making this vision tangible. Your acts of kindness and generosity have not gone unnoticed and have been truly inspiring.

Initially, our goal was to gather $200,000 based on the quotes for materials and labor. But as prices rose, so did the challenge. Despite this, our community didn’t just meet the target; we soared past it! Not only did we secure enough funds to cover the increased costs, but we also managed to add several exciting new features to our playground plan!

This accomplishment stands as a shining example of what we can achieve when we come together with dedication and heart. We can’t wait to see the joy and laughter the new playground will bring to our students. Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting phase of our project!

We’re absolutely thrilled to share some fantastic news! Desert Hills High School (DHHS) has truly outdone themselves this year with their annual Gold Rush fundraiser, and guess what? Little Valley Elementary School is the lucky recipient! Throughout December, the high school was abuzz with a variety of fundraising activities, all aimed at supporting our dream project - the Inclusive Playground.

The dedication and hard work of these amazing students didn’t just stop at organizing events; they put in countless hours of service, pouring their hearts into every effort to make a significant impact for our school. Their commitment to helping others is nothing short of inspiring.

And now, for the drumroll... Thanks to their incredible efforts, DHHS has raised a whopping $10,084.18 for our Inclusive Playground! We’re overwhelmed with gratitude and so excited to see this project come to life. A massive thank you to everyone at Desert Hills High School - your generosity will create a space where all children can play and grow together. You’ve made a real difference!

Thank you to everyone who joined in on our Sneakers Drive! It was a fantastic effort, and we’ve successfully bundled up all the donated sneakers and shipped them off for sorting. Guess what? We’ve just received our earnings, and we made a whopping $36.00!! Sure, it might sound small, but every penny adds to the cause, and we’re super grateful for everyone’s contribution!!

Thank you to the Walsh family for your incredible generosity! Your donation has brought us one step closer to creating a playground that all our students at Little Valley Elementary can enjoy. It’s heartwarming to see our community come together to support this project and with this new play equipment, we’re excited to make recess fun and accessible for everyone.
