🔥 Rock Your School came a little early for some of our 4th graders! Mrs. Sibbitt and Mrs. Golding transformed their day with a Fire Safety theme in honor of Fire Prevention Week and the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. 🚒

4th grade students and some younger hawks learned about specialized equipment, got to see how a fire hose works (and spray some water! 💦), and had plenty of time to ask our firefighters questions.

Such a fun way to bring learning to life! ❤️🔥 A HUGE thank you to our firefighters for taking the time to make this experience so special for our Hawks!

Happy coaches day!!!! We truly don’t know what we would do without these two! ❤️

Ms. Thomas, our Literacy & Math Coach, and Ms. Sanders, our MTSS Coach, may have official titles as “coach”, but anyone at Hickory Tree knows they wear SO many more hats than that. They are constantly stepping in wherever they’re needed, answering questions, solving problems, supporting our teachers and students, and somehow always finding a way to help.

They are two of those people who make our school better simply because they’re here, and we are so incredibly thankful for everything they do for our Hawks each and every day. ❤️🖤

Help us show Ms. Thomas and Ms. Sanders some love in the comments below! They absolutely deserve it! 🥰

Let's get ready to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and the rich diversity that makes our school community so special!

We are excited to announce our Multicultural Spirit Week, taking place October 12-16.

This week will provide meaningful opportunities for our students and staff to learn about, appreciate, and celebrate the many cultures represented in our school and around the world.

All days are FREE dress down days
