We’re excited to bring back our Bookmark Buddy Mentoring Program for our third-grade students this year, and we’re looking for caring community members to join us!

Just 30–45 minutes a week can make a lasting impact on a child’s confidence and reading success. Mentors meet one-on-one with a third-grade student for 25 weeks during the school day (9:15–10:05 a.m.), and all training and materials are provided.

Whether you can volunteer one day a week or more, your time can help change a child’s future. 📚

We are currently accepting donations of:
🌸 Pollinating plants
🪨 River rocks (any color)
🌱 Soil

Ready to donate? Items can be dropped off at the HTES front office. Please make sure all donations are labeled “Ms. Douglass” so our front office team knows exactly where to send them.
