El verano está por terminar y un nuevo año escolar está por comenzar.
Aunque somos un family home daycare, siempre realizo una conferencia entre padres y maestra al inicio del año escolar. Para mí, no se trata solo de cuidar niños; se trata de educarlos, guiarlos y prepararlos para su camino hacia el kindergarten.
Estas reuniones nos permiten establecer metas juntos, hablar sobre el desarrollo de cada niño y trabajar como un verdadero equipo.
Hoy tuve mis conferencias con las familias y salí con el corazón lleno. Escuchar que aman mi trabajo, valoran mi currículo y sienten que son bendecidos de tenerme en la vida de sus hijos es el mejor recordatorio de por qué hago lo que hago.
Cuando una familia confía en ti para formar parte del crecimiento de su hijo, entiendes que estás dejando una huella que va mucho más allá del cuidado infantil.
