A little behind on this post but still needed to share!

This year we Morgan and Delaney, 2 of our officers, up to SLCCL. This camp provided them with lots of leadership development activities, along with time to network with other members from across the state. While there, they also helped with service activities at the learning center. The long car ride home was spent sharing their fun memories and the ideas they gained to bring back to our chapter.

What a quick response! We are now set with fans for the fair! Thank you!

Hello there ZM FFA supporters - fair is quickly approaching and we all know how bad the heat can get during fair week. Our children’s barnyard is in need of some good fans to help keep all involved cool during fair week - the animals, FFA members and of course all of those who come to visit us. Everyone’s safety is our priority. To help us get these fans, we are looking for donations to purchase them. We are in need of at least 2 fans, costing about $110 each.

While we know fair is only a short time of the year, these fans would be used for the long run each fair season.

Every year, we have numerous members represent our chapter by showing at the state fair during FFA weekend. To help our chapter stand out more, we are looking to get banners for each animal area to show our pride. To help offset the cost of these banners, we are looking for sponsors for these banners. Each banner costs $30. Your name/business will be included on the banner if you so choose. Below are proposed banner images.

26-27 ZM Officer retreat is checked off the list! Our annual camping trip was filled with lots of planning, brainstorming, critical thinking, and self reflection. All needed to get ready for a great year of ZM FFA. Shout out to State Treasurer Eddie Winters for helping our team discover our dynamics by exploring our values, strengths, backgrounds, and talents! This team loves to joke around and laugh so it’s going to be one fun year ahead!

FFA camp season is upon us! Grant Clemenson packed his bags for camp this week up at Deep Portage and gets to hang out with other Greenhand members from around the state, and with Eddie Winters, too! So proud to have members like Grant who want to continue building up their leadership skills and bring back ideas for our chapter. Have a great time, Grant!

As our school year comes to a close, we take a moment to celebrate our senior members as they walk across the stage tomorrow night and receive their high school diplomas. We hope their time in FFA has provided them with some extra skills to help them succeed as they continue on their individual journeys, which they have worked so hard on already. Congratulations to all of you on your graduation!

Calling all 26-27 incoming 7th graders! We want you to see what FFA is all about! There is no Ag class option for 7th grade here at ZM, so we created the summer program to help you get your Ag/FFA journey started! Reach out to Mrs. Flaaen via email that can be found on the included image. We hope you give FFA a look!

That’s a wrap! We capped off the 25-26 FFA year with an awesome end of the year banquet and awards program.
