Meet Chirison ’26, a newly graduated Hospitality & Tourism alum who landed a role as the Community Library Outreach & Marketing Intern at the James W. Miller Learning Center.

In this position, Chirison leads projects that expand the library’s outreach to diverse communities and develops creative ways to market services to students and outside patrons. She also takes the lead on long‑term marketing initiatives that will support the library for years to come.

Advice for fellow Huskies: “Find something you truly love and do that. I even asked my current job to create an internship for me because I’ve never loved a place or job more than the SCSU library. They worked with me to build something that fit my program and helped me learn the ins and outs of working at a university library — my dream job.”
