SCTCC's Advanced Manufacturing Center was a recipient of the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation 2024 Innovation Awards.

The Innovation Awards highlight innovative strategies that organizations and businesses have implemented to overcome challenges and/or take on new opportunities. The Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) opened in September 2023.

In addition to improved facilities for SCTCC programs, the AMC expands training opportunities for those currently in the workforce, as was mentioned from DeZurik during their acceptance of the GSDC Employer of Choice Award at the event.

St. Cloud Technical & Community College Builds Customized Training Programs for Benton County Businesses St. Cloud Technical & Community College (SCTCC) is changing how companies and their employees approach training and development. This institution offers several degrees and learning programs but also supports non-degree-seeking students and businesses who are ready to upskill their workers.

Mental Health First Aid is a virtual course that teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health illnesses and substance use disorders.

By completing this 2-hour self-paced online course and a 6-hour skills-based instructor-led session via Zoom, participants will build skills and confidence to reach out and provide initial support to those who are struggling.

Multiple dates are available, with the next session scheduled for October 31, 2024.
