🐬 Support Staff of the Year – Venancio DeJesus
Mr. DeJesus is the definition of dedication and teamwork. Whether it’s cleaning up a spill that no one else wants to tackle, helping move furniture, or stepping in wherever he is needed, he never hesitates to lend a hand. His strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to our school do not go unnoticed. We are grateful for all he does to help keep Lakeview running smoothly each and every day.
🐬 Teacher of the Year – Mrs. Sherry Thomas
Mrs. Thomas brings learning to life for her first-grade students through creativity, innovation, and a genuine love for teaching. She creates a classroom where students feel excited to learn, grow, and succeed. Loved by both current and former students, Mrs. Thomas leaves a lasting impact on every child who walks through her classroom doors. She is also a valued team player who works collaboratively with her colleagues and administration, always willing to support those around her. Her dedication, professionalism, and countless efforts often happen behind the scenes, but they certainly do not go unnoticed.
