Hello Campus Community,
The Spring Education Abroad & Away fair is next week, March 16, 2023 from 11 am – 2 pm in the Atwood Memorial Center!
Here are some of the many options students have at SCSU to see the world!
· The Castle Campus!
o www.stcloudstate.edu/alnwick
· Semester abroad
o as long as there is not a US State Department warning at that location, we can help students go abroad for a semester there!
· Short-term programs (summer, winter, & spring break)
o amazing faculty at SCSU lead programs over the different breaks and also our amazing partners have programs available for students too!
· Study away to US intuitions for a semester!
o Did you know that we are part of the National Student Exchange at SCSU?! Students can study away to other US institutions, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands for a semester!
For faculty and staff that are interested in leading a program, API will be hosting a presentation to talk more about customized programs! API assists faculty in making their program dreams a reality by customizing a program that is tailored to your specific needs.
· Come meet Tina Kirk
o Atwood Memorial Center – Mississippi Room
o March 16
o 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Teacher Professional Development Fellowships Available
Fund for Teachers strengthens instruction by investing in outstanding teachers' self-determined professional growth and development in order to support student success, enrich teachers' practice, and strengthen schools and communities. Summer fellowship grants are provided to pre-K-12 teachers throughout the continental United States and Hawaii to pursue self-designed professional learning. Teachers decide what they want to learn and where they want to learn it. As scientists, researchers, artists, and agents of change, selected Fellows return to their classrooms with new ideas that transform student learning and achievement. Full-time pre-K-12 grade teachers who spend at least 50% of their time directly providing instruction to students and have at least three years' experience been eligible to apply. Individuals may apply for up to $5,000, and teams may apply for up to $10,000. The application deadline is January 19, 2023. Application guidelines are available on the Fund for Teachers website.
