We had a pickle day! We grew the cucumbers, onion, and dill in our very own garden! Each child got to slice up their own pickles and onion, add dill, and watch as the teacher poured hot pickle juice into their own jar. They got to take their pickles home, stick them in the refrigerator, and enjoy them the next day. 🤤🥒
Swim day = joy and giggles. Sound on!

Our garden is recovering! We only ended up losing leaves, but they have all filled back in. We’ve been picking SO MANY cucumbers and zucchini! The kids have been slicing and preparing, and enjoying them for snack. 🤤

Guess what?! We have ducklings!! Two hatched yesterday and one waited until we were back at school. We all got to watch! 😍

I stopped by the school to check on the duck eggs and set up a camera for the upcoming due date. I was surprised to find one had pipped already! I decided to take them home for the weekend so I can better tend to them.
I feel like I’m rushing them to labor and delivery!

The weather today was perfect for nature art! Bonus, there were a lot of sticks on the ground from the recent storm. I can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon than crafting in the grass, in the shade of a tree.

Our garden took quite a beating in yesterday’s storm. 😕 Hopefully the sunshine today will help some of this perk up. 🤞
