Florida has been fortunate to enjoy a relatively mild storm season so far. However, we are now entering what has historically been the busiest part of hurricane season.

Please continue reviewing your family’s storm plan and replenishing important supplies. Preparation is most effective when completed before a storm appears in the forecast—not while everyone else is rushing to the stores.

Check your food, water, medications, batteries, fuel, emergency equipment, important documents, pet supplies, and evacuation plans now. Hopefully, Florida will continue to enjoy a mild season, but preparedness helps ensure your family is not caught off guard.

Over the past two weeks, PB Group has had the opportunity to team up with The Academy BJJ in Melbourne to bring our programs to homeschool students and families throughout Central and South Brevard County.

And what a great two weeks it has been!

This partnership has given us the opportunity to meet and work with more students, connect with new families, and continue expanding the hands-on learning opportunities PB Group can provide to the homeschool community.

We’re excited to say that this is just the beginning. PB Group will continue offering classes at The Academy BJJ, with more programs and opportunities coming in the future.

Prepared kids become capable adults.

At Paratus Bellator Group, we believe young people should have opportunities to learn practical skills—not just read about them.

As a homeschooling family ourselves, we created PB Group to provide hands-on programs that help students build confidence, develop good judgment, solve problems, and become better prepared for real-life situations.

Our classes introduce students to skills such as:

✅ First aid and emergency response
✅ Situational awareness and personal safety
✅ Wilderness survival
✅ Everyday carry and personal preparedness
✅ Navigation and communication
✅ Digital safety and online awareness
✅ Other practical skills they can carry into adulthood
✅ Food Preservation

These are not simply classes where students sit and listen. We want them participating, practicing, asking questions, and discovering what they are capable of doing.

PB Group is continuing to grow, and we would love to connect with more homeschool families, co-ops, churches, and community organizations.

Students can attend one class or stay for both and build a stronger foundation of hands-on first aid skills.

A Friendly Reminder for Parents

To help us prepare enough supplies and materials for every student, all students should be preregistered before attending a PB Group class.

While we love welcoming new students, simply arriving at an event without registering may mean we do not have enough supplies available for your student to fully participate.

We understand that plans can change and families may decide to join us at the last minute. If space is available, we will always do our absolute best to accommodate your student—but we cannot guarantee participation without advance registration.

Preregistering helps us make sure every student receives the complete hands-on experience they came for.

Thank you for helping us stay prepared—after all, preparedness is what we teach!
