Our 5th-8th graders enjoyed their final track meet of the season in Alexandria today!

The lack of sunshine and warmth did not keep our kids from running, jumping, and throwing with determination and heart! They gave it their all and earned 98 ribbons for all their efforts!

We are so proud of each and every one of them and the hard work they put in to do their best! Many thanks to our big POP cheering section! We appreciate you!

Most importantly, THANKS be to God for granting us safety to the meets, the blessings of talented athletes, and no rain!

We have one last alumni spotlight to wrap up the school year. This week, we’d like to shoutout Garret Broman. Garret is currently studying Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management at the University of MN Carlson School of Management.

Favorite POP memory: “How could I pick one! Chapel family challenge, caroling before winter break, the musical, and of course beach day!”

How did Prince of Peace help prepare you for the future: “It started my educational career in a place that fostered my faith. A relationship with God is the most important foundation that can be formed for the rest of one’s life. Prince of Peace did that for me. It also fostered problem solving, confidence, and community. POP is a tight knit family, I knew many people from grades above me and grades below as well, I have many mentors and peer that I could rely on. I found confidence in asking questions and seeking help because of the encouraging environment created by the teachers, and was encouraged to think critically in order to succeed.”

As the school year draws to a close, we would like to shout out another amazing alumni, Isaac Peterson! Isaac is currently finishing his final year at Tech High School.

Our POP fourth, fifth, and sixth graders enjoyed an AMAZING day at the Sauk Rapids track meet on Friday!

Nine area Christian schools competed in the meet. Our kids ran with such determination and joy!❤️

Thank you to everyone who cheered on our athletes! Our POP kids earned 84 ribbons! Woohoo! 🎉
