Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Gomez (Ford)! She is definitely the heart of our campus and is so deserving of this recognition!

Yesterday, we wrapped up our grade level assemblies with 8th grade. Our 8th graders received information about our quarterly 8th grade incentives, including Gradventure and our end of year 8th grade banquet. Parents, be on the lookout for letters coming home today. These letters will need to be signed and returned to school.

We are so proud of 6th, 7th and 8th graders. All classes did an awesome job listening and engaging in their presentations! Mrs. Harrell celebrated our growth last year, the goals we met, reminded students of behavior expectations, discussed PBIS incentives and set the vision for the 2026-27 school year. She will be reaching out with more details soon. Let’s make it happen, Mustangs!

To wrap up our preplanning week appreciation, we want to recognize A Touch of Basil for their continued support. For many years now, they have donated the meal for our faculty and staff on Meet the Teacher night. The baked ziti was once again amazing! Thank you for supporting SCMS!

Our “Thankful Thursday” continues with a huge shout out to Starbucks in St. Cloud on Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy for their donation of iced coffee, refreshers and pastries for our faculty and staff meeting on Thursday last week. Our staff loved it!

We are grateful for the numerous business partners who supported our pre-planning week, and today we would like to extend our gratitude to a few more. Firehouse Subs provided our faculty with subs on Wednesday, which was a wonderful way to fuel our teachers on a classroom-focused day. Thank you, Firehouse Subs, for your kindness.
