Last and certainly not least, Lucy. Lucy has expressed that DECA has been a significant contributor and asset to her growth in her current job and aspirations for her future career. During her time as a DECA member, the most meaningful aspect for her has been the ongoing connections she has made with not only her chapter but also business leaders. DECA has enabled her to think critically, connect with others, and enhance her confidence. After graduating, she intends to continue working at Sentry Bank and eventually venture into the residential real estate industry, having recently obtained her license. Congratulations, Lucy! 🔷

Next up, Jason. Jason shared that DECA has been an unforgettable experience, and if he could, he would do it 1,000 times over. He highly recommends it to anyone who is a true go-getter. Beyond the lifelong friendships he built with the team, one of the biggest takeaways from DECA has been strengthening his presentation skills and learning how to communicate and relay information in a professional manner. This year, Jason had the opportunity to serve as our Fundraising Officer, where he helped organize both our Barnes & Noble fundraiser and our Benefit Drawing. Jason plans to continue working with Barnes & Noble and hopes to one day start his own business. Thank you, Jason, for your dedication and hard work over the past couple of years. We wish you the best of luck ! 🔷

Next, we have Nate. Nate has expressed his overall satisfaction with DECA. He has acquired valuable skills that are applicable in the professional world, such as pitching and public speaking. He has also had the opportunity to network with like-minded students from across the USA. Nate participated in Sales Management and Entrepreneurship competitions. After graduation, he will start his career at Anderson Trucking Service as a Regional Carrier Representative. Good luck, Nate! 🔷

Next, we have our SCTCC Chapter President, Kaden. Kaden expresses his immense gratitude for the enriching experience he had as President of SCTCC DECA this year. He gained invaluable insights into leadership and the importance of fostering pride in his team and celebrating their accomplishments. Eagerly, he looks forward to applying the skills he acquired over the past two years, both at SCTCC and DECA, in his new role as Team Lead for Target. Kaden extends his heartfelt gratitude to Collegiate DECA, Becky Shand, Sharon Shofner-Meyer, Zachary Leonard, and everyone else who supported him throughout his journey.
