Congratulations to our leader, champion, and liaison, President Lori Kloos, on her ATHENA Award! She accepted the lifetime achievement award from the Central Minnesota Women's Fund on June 8 at Dancing with our Stars.

Her work at SCTCC has been nearly a lifelong commitment: “This is an extraordinary community where were work together to transform students’ lives.” We wouldn't have it any other way!

This morning, President Lori Kloos was on WJON's Special Segment with Kelly Cordes to chat about the Athena Award! She will be presented the award this evening at Dancing with our Stars by the Central Minnesota Women's Fund. The dancing starts at 7 p.m. and the award will be presented as part of the program. Congratulations, President Kloos!

Earlier this month, SCTCC celebrated its fourth Rising Stars Cohort at KREWE with students from the St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids-Rice school districts. Chefs Mateo and Erin have been with Rising Stars from the start and provided the meal for this important milestone for the students.

May is Mental Health Awareness month! Earlier in May, Wellness Resource Services invited SCTCC to wear green to raise awareness, reduce stigma & show support for mental health.
