Hope everyone enjoyed spring break. On campus classes begin again tomorrow. Be sure to set your clock ahead one hour today or you will be late tomorrow. Your computer and mobile device should do this automatically, but your alarm clock may not.

Greetings,
As we have celebrated the graduation of our students on Friday, we’re now looking ahead to our new spring entering class and want to share information with the campus community about their programming.
All new first year, transfer, non-traditional and international students are invited to join us for Spring Orientation on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Atwood.
This program includes:
•SCSU 101 program
•Lunch and Resource Fair with campus partners
•Community through Diversity workshops
•Sessions with Orientation Leaders for campus tours, finding classrooms, meeting peers, etc.
•Drop-in Advising
Specialty programming is provided for our non-traditional students and our veteran/military student populations.
New international students will participate in the Center for International Studies activities the week prior to classes, then join in the weekend’s activities with all new students.
New students who are living in the residence halls will be moving into their new homes beginning Saturday, January 6 at 1 pm, so a number of campus services will be available to welcome and support these students and all of our spring starts. Thank you to our partners who are providing office coverage over the two day orientation weekend to ease the transition for students and their families.
Saturday night we’re partnering with Athletics and Chartwells to promote student attendance at the home basketball and hockey games.
Information about open office hours during orientation and the schedule are available on our site at: https://www.stcloudstate.edu/firstfour/
Thanks,
Holly Schuck & Jessica Ostman
