🌞 Lazy, hazy summer days!

Our sunflower exploration provided a hands-on learning experience that supported fine-motor, sensory, and cognitive development. Children touched, picked, and examined the sunflower and its seeds while observing different textures, shapes, and plant parts. The experience also encouraged social-emotional, language, and communication skills as children worked together, took turns, asked questions, and shared their discoveries. Through this engaging nature experience, children practiced curiosity, observation, cooperation, and problem-solving. 🌻- Ms. Christina

Last Friday, our friends practiced their fine motor skills while using their creative minds to draw pictures. 🖍️They enjoyed holding and controlling the drawing tools as they made lines, shapes, and colorful creations. This fun activity helped strengthen their hand muscles, improve hand-eye coordination, and encourage creativity and self-expression. Our friends had so much fun creating their own unique pictures!🖍️ ~Miss Kourtnie

Today our infant friends had fun with a shadow puppet activity. This activity helps with visual development by tracking the movement of shadows. This is good for cognitive development too because they begin to notice that movements and actions can create changes in what they see. As I name each puppet they learn new words which is great for language development. This fun activity allowed them to excitedly anticipate what was coming next. They loved it! 🔦 -Miss Karady

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Assistant Teacher to join our Heritage family!

We wrapped up camp yesterday with lots of fun, laughter, and playtime on the playground. What a great way to end an amazing summer together! 🛝😊

📸 Photos from today's trip to Barkcamp! 🌿☀️

Our HCC Summer Campers enjoyed kickball, mini soccer, bat ball, creating fairy gardens, and lots of time outdoors! We also enjoyed a delicious lunch and tried calling birds with bird whistles gifted by Ms. Adrianna, Ms. RoseMary's daughter. 🐦🌸

We also celebrated some of our friends who were “caught being extra helpful” last week. We love recognizing kindness and celebrating our campers for being helpful! 💚
