We had a busy week at Bright Beginnings, kicking off our Summer Fun and continuing our Garden Curriculum! Oh, how these kiddos keep us on our toes in all the best ways.
Monday, we were supposed to have an outside picnic. Rain put a cramp in our schedule, but we still made some homemade lemonade and enjoyed our picnic lunch in our classrooms! We also got WORMS to watch live in their habitats this week and release to our gardens today!
Tuesday, we made playdough and bouncy balls! We might've slightly underestimated how much time (and borax) those bouncy balls take... so it turned into some small group activities!
Wednesday, we enjoyed some sports play and spent a little extra time outside.
Thursday, we had our first water day of the year! Our kids enjoyed this thoroughly and even included their teachers in the fun... throwing water balls at them and dumping some buckets on them!
Today, our kiddos will do some cardboard mural painting and release their worms into their gardens! Hopefully we start seeing some plants sprouting out there!
