I have so many great memories with this bunch. They earned 1st place at Global Finals in Knoxville for Destination Imagination in 4th grade. They started the first Main Street Caboose Escape Room, which has become an annual event. They also created their vision of a gifted center for the SchoolsNext Competition, earning another 1st place. They presented a Mock Trial with STC administrators, dressed as legends for the community, made their own toothpaste, filmed commercials and newscasts, and took many trips...so many fond memories! Congratulations to Myah, Mattea, Lilly, Landen, Hunter, and Ali! You are going to do amazing things!

“Once a friend, always a friend.” We took our annual toy shopping trip and delivered the toys to Friends of Kids With Cancer today! We are happy to support friends like former Challenge student, Steven Conner. This annual Toy Drive began many years ago when 4th grade student, Cora Conner, shared her vision to help her brother, and others, receiving treatments. The toys will go toy closets at local hospitals. Thank you to Show Me Soils and Chris Chapman for the generous monetary donation, and thank you to everyone who donated toys this year! Congratulations to our Murray Spelling Bee Champion, Beatrice Derhake! She will represent the Edgar Murray Elementary at the ECC Spelling Bee in April. Runner-up, Jude Pryor, will take Beatrice’s place if she is unable to attend. Congratulations to Beatrice, Jude, and all our class champions! Thank you to Asst.
