Thank you for celebrating my 30th year work anniversary! I appreciate all the love and support. This was not just a job—it’s a ministry that has fulfilled me in so many ways. Yes, there were challenges, bumps and tears along the way, but the blessings I received outweighed them all! I’m grateful for our amazing preschool staff, awesome church support, wonderful Preschool Ministry Team members, and preschool families! Cheers to many more years with our sweet kiddos! 💕✏️📚🖍️

Members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, preschool families, friends, and neighbors are warmly invited to a special Open House Celebration on Sunday, May 31 honoring Pong and giving thanks for her 30 years of dedicated service to Bethlehem Preschool Center!

For three decades, Pong has shared her care, kindness, faith, and joyful spirit with generations of children and families. Her loving presence has made Bethlehem Preschool Center a sweeter, brighter place for so many, and we are excited to celebrate this remarkable milestone together.

This open house is a wonderful opportunity for the Bethlehem congregation and the wider community to come together in gratitude, celebration, and fellowship as we honor Pong’s lasting impact on our preschool, church, and all the lives she has touched.

We will have a balloon photo display—so you can take a picture with Pong—along with cake, cookies, and a few candy tables!

Please drop in to celebrate, share your thanks, and enjoy this sweet occasion with us on Sunday, May 31 from 12:00–1:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. We hope to see you there!

Due to a recent loss of one of our teachers and growing enrollment, we are hiring for the upcoming school year. If you enjoy working with young children and like to be surrounded by fabulous & fun co-workers 😉, please call Pong at 630-584-6027 or email [email protected]. We are looking to hire qualified teachers, assistant teachers and substitute teachers, part-time or full-time. (Wages: $19-$24/hr)! 💕

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer weather to celebrate the end of a great school year for our Preschool Family Picnic! There were lots of excited children, yummy food, fun on the playground, fellowship, and laughter from the kids as our walking magician made his round doing tricks! What a wonderful turnout! We really do have the best preschool community! 💕

Miss Tonya, our beloved teacher of 9 years, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 10, due to a cardiac event. She was a wonderful and kind teacher. She was loved by her students and those who knew her. She will be missed greatly. Attached is her obituary and memorial service information. We hold Miss Tonya’s family in our thoughts and prayers 🙏🏼💕.
