To say it’s been an exciting week would be an understatement.
Not only did we welcome students back to school on Wednesday, but we also opened the doors (and hallways) to a brand-new Richmond.🥳🏫🍎
The new addition at Richmond provides our students and staff with wonderful spaces to learn, collaborate, and grow! 🙌🤗

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, August 10, right before Backpack Night. We’re so excited to use these spaces and are incredibly grateful for all the work and support over the past few months that made our school better for our students and the D303 community. 😊🏫

The D303 Communitywide Education Facilities Committee has issued its findings after a 5-month learning and prioritizing process: 97% support among Committee members for a $295.6 million communitywide investment in their schools.

Literacy and Culture at Richmond 🥳
Yesterday, we celebrated the conclusion of our "One School, One Book" journey with a festive evening!

It was such a wonderful event with lots of activities, games, interactive stations for art, music, dance, and literacy, and wonderful therapy dogs. 😄🐶📚
Our hallways were lined with student self-portraits, creating a stunning gallery for families to browse. The night's highlights included a vibrant live musical performance by Mariachi Colima, a popular free book fair and family photo station, and exciting raffle baskets for attendees.🎊🎁🎼

A huge thank you goes out to the staff, volunteers, and families who worked together to make this celebration of reading such a spectacular success for the Richmond community.

- Workshops & Group Sessions: Participate in interactive music, art, dance, and literacy sessions for all ages. Families who have not yet signed up can RSVP below.

- Art Gallery: Take a stroll through the halls to view amazing student artwork on display.
