🎓☀️ Our 5th graders had a wonderful time celebrating at their graduation picnic today! A huge thank you to our PTO for sponsoring this special event, as well as to our parent volunteers and organizers, Mrs. Blossfield, Mrs. Baker, and Mrs. Kling, for planning such a fun-filled day, including lunch and miniature golf.

A special thank you also goes to the teachers these students have come to know and love throughout the years. 💙 We are so proud of our graduates and all they have accomplished!

This month, the PTO received several thank you cards from Mrs. Zabadal’s class, and wow... they completely made our day! 🥹💌 Each card was so heartfelt, thoughtful, and incredibly creative. You can tell the students spent a lot of time making them extra special! 🎨✨

These sweet notes were to thank the PTO for covering the cost of the 4th grade field trip to Hickory Knolls, which made it possible for every fourth grader to attend at NO cost to students or families! This experience was funded through the support and generosity from our PTO fundraisers and donations. 💚

We always share thank you cards during PTO meetings, but these were just too amazing not to share with everyone! 📸💕 Here are just a few for you to enjoy, and we will be sharing more on here for everyone to see in the future!

A special shoutout to Girl Scout Troop 2362 and one of their leaders, Ashley Okigawa! 🌸💚

This second grade troop from Wild Rose wanted to complete a service project that gave back directly to the Wild Rose community, and they did an amazing job! Last week, they planted beautiful new flowers in the front planters by the main entrance and helped clean up around the school grounds. 🌼✨

Thank you for helping make Wild Rose even more beautiful! We appreciate everything you’ve done for our school community. Wonderful work! 🐾💐

Earlier this month, Wild Rose held its annual Too Good For Drugs Open House in the Community Room. Deputy Gabe Perez joined our fifth-grade students as they showcased board games they created to demonstrate their learning from the eleven-week TGFD program presented by the Kane County Sheriff’s Office. Students learned how to make positive choices related to their goals, relationships, and health as they continue their educational journey.

We are grateful for Deputy Perez’s time and dedication each week, as well as the support from families through weekly homework activities. Thank you to all the parents who joined us to play the games and celebrate our students’ learning!

We are excited to share our “Year in Review” with you so every family can see how the money raised this year was used to support our school community. We hope this gives families the opportunity to see the direct impact their support has had on our school!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated, volunteered, participated in fundraisers, and supported our PTO this year. None of these things would have been possible without you!
