🎓✨ Congratulations to the Roger Bacon High School Class of 2026! ✨🎓

Last night, we celebrated an incredible group of graduates as they crossed the stage and officially became Roger Bacon alumni. It was a beautiful commencement ceremony filled with pride, gratitude, memories, and excitement for all that lies ahead.

As they tossed their caps into the air, the Class of 2026 marked the end of one journey and the beginning of another. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see the impact they will make in the world.

Once a Spartan, always a Spartan.

Be on the lookout throughout the week as we continue to share more photos and memories from this special night!

After 23 incredible years at Roger Bacon High School, we were proud to celebrate Julie Vehorn at our annual end of the year faculty luncheon as she received her honorary rocking chair and begins the next chapter of her journey. ❤️🪑

From the classroom to the Dean of Academics office, Mrs. Vehorn has helped shape the lives of countless Spartans through her leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Whether mentoring teachers, leading curriculum innovation, guiding the Assisi Scholar Program, supporting AP® students, or inspiring service through St. Vincent de Paul, her impact can be felt in every corner of our school community.

Julie’s legacy is one of faith, scholarship, service, and love for Roger Bacon. Her dedication has helped make RB a place where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to grow into the people they are called to be.

Thank you, Julie, for all you have done for Roger Bacon High School. Your influence and spirit will remain part of our community for years to come.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This Memorial Day, Roger Bacon High School gives thanks for the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward. Their courage, selflessness, and commitment to something greater than themselves continue to inspire us all.

As a Franciscan community rooted in faith, service, and gratitude, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

May we never forget. ❤️🤍💙

Roger Bacon High School's annual end-of-year student recognition continues today as we celebrate our exceptional students for their accomplishments.

Angeline Uhrig devoted 39 years of her life to the students of Our Lady of Angels and Roger Bacon High Schools. In addition to contributions as a classroom teacher, Miss Uhrig served as moderator of the yearbook at OLA and directed plays at both OLA and Roger Bacon. This scholarship is presented to junior students who, through five semesters, have maintained a fine academic record, are of good character, and are actively involved in the Troubadour yearbook, the Drama Guild, and/or Band.

The 2026 Angeline E. Uhrig Scholarship is presented to Maya Fertick and Claudia Veach.

Maya attended Mercy Montessori Center for grade school. Claudia attended St. St. James School (White Oak).
