Today, select students from the Washington Classical Christian School choir were invited to close out the National Day of Prayer event at the St. Johns County Auditorium alongside legislators and churches from across the county by singing “God Bless America.”
Experiential learning remains central to a classical Christian education. Opportunities like these place students in the middle of civic life, connecting U.S. history, the Church, and public service while bringing those lessons to life beyond the classroom.
Thank you to Commissioner Murphy for welcoming the students into the County Commission offices and giving them firsthand insight into the role of local government and public service.

7th grade grammar. Proficiency in verb tenses—especially progressive forms—carries into professional writing. Data shows that most Americans struggle not just to write, but to maintain consistent tense and clarity. A classical, academically grounded education demands more: disciplined structure, correct usage, and the ability to communicate with precision.
