What IS our Junior High (middle school) program you ask?
It's a project-based learning experience! 15-18 middle school learners get together on Tuesdays and Thursdays and dive into a new immersive theme each quarter. They become forensic investigators, production teams, environmental filmmakers, and more. Along the way, we bring in experts to bring themes to life (like that time SJSO landed their helicopter and a stunt pilot came to visit during our aviation unit!)
Language arts are woven throughout everything to build strong writers and confident speakers, and we round it all out with math, studio time, and personalized goal-setting. Activities and pacing are shaped by what lights these kids up! 💡

Your co-op teaching and leadership team is officially CPR, AED, and First Aid certified! A big heartfelt "thank you!" to Jenn Hampton with St. Johns County Fire Rescue, for leading this training and helping keep our community safe!
In addition, before serving children, every staff member and volunteer completes a screening application, passes a background check, and completes s*x abuse awareness training.

Our hearts are so full! Thank you to everyone who showed up for us at the gala, participated in our auction, and took the time to encourage us.
