The Pirate 5K

Good morning, we have had inquiries regarding a 2024 PES PTO Pirate 5K but unfortunately the PTO will not be organizing the race in 2024😟

Local runners, check out the Character Counts race which takes place in a similar timeframe.

CHARACTER COUNTS! in St. Johns County Six Pillars 6K/3K Run/Walk The CHARACTER COUNTS! in St. Johns County Six Pillars 6K/3K Run/Walk is on Saturday February 3, 2024. It includes the following events: 6K Run/Walk and 3K Run/Walk.

Highlights from The Pirate 5K & Lil' Matey Race!

The race was a huge success thanks to all of our sponsors, the huge outpouring of support from the PES families, runners from the greater JAX area, our community in Palencia and beyond!!

We would also like to thank our amazing teachers from Palencia Elementary School who gave up their Saturday morning to support the Palencia Elementary School PTO and the children. We are grateful for you.

The camaraderie and spirit of the children is palpable in these photos and we are thrilled to have activated such a strong event for the school.

Thank you to everyone who participated in making this race a success!

Good morning, runners!!! If you haven't picked up your bibs and shirts yet, please plan on coming to the race a little early to do so: before 8am for 5K and before 9am for the Lil' Matey! Look for the race tent by the fountain in front of Palencia Club.

Ahoy, runners!! The Pirate 5k & Lil' Matey Race Packet Pick-Up is tomorrow (1/20/23) at 11am at The Palencia Club in the Cordova Room and will go until 6pm. Come by to pick up your big, shirt and race bag.

Note that all registered runners will be receiving an email today with instructions for packet pick-up, race day parking and other logistics. Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!!!
