As we continue to monitor Tropical Storm Nicole with the Emergency Operations Center, it is evident that our county will be impacted by tidal flooding, wind, and rain. These conditions may restrict access to coastal and low-lying regions.
Due to the storm’s projected timeline, schools will remain open on Wednesday with a regular early dismissal. Extended day services will operate as usual. There will be no afterschool activities, events, or athletics.
We will close all schools and district offices on Thursday, November 10th. Please be reminded that Friday is a holiday honoring Veterans Day.

Wonderful celebrations and acknowledgments at today’s school board meeting but I LOVE seeing 52 St. Johns County students recognized as National Merit Semi-Finalists!! These students scored in the top 1% on the PSAT. These are hard-working students and I know their families and teachers are so proud of them. The future looks bright! 😎 (pictured are semi-finalists from Bartram Trail, SAHS and Ponte Vedra, not pictured are Nease and Creekside students) 😊

All 8 early voting locations are open today from 8 AM to 6 PM! Registered SJC voters can visit ANY of our 8 early voting sites to cast their vote!

🗳 Still haven’t returned your vote-by-mail ballot? Secure ballot intake stations are available at all 8 early voting locations today during the hours of voting. The secure ballot intake station inside the SOE Office will be available today until 6 PM, Monday 11/7 from 8:30 AM-5 PM, and Tuesday, 11/8 from 7 AM-7 PM.
