Camp KES was everything we hoped it would be and more. 🏕️ We loved meeting so many incredible new families, reconnecting with returning ones, and helping everyone head into the new school year feeling informed, welcomed, and excited.

Our greatest hope was that every family experienced what truly makes Ketterlinus so special—our community. Seeing connections made, questions answered, and smiles shared reminded us exactly why events like this matter.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers, teachers, staff, and families who helped make Camp KES such a meaningful start to the school year.

We are incredibly grateful for Officer Shipp and the dedication, kindness, and steady presence he brings to Ketterlinus each day. He does so much more than keep our campus safe—he builds relationships, creates trust, and helps our students feel secure and cared for.

As we kick off the 2026–2027 school year, we're excited to welcome back the St. Augustine Police Department's School Resource Officer (SRO) Team!

Our SROs are looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new students, and helping make this a safe, fun, and successful school year. More than law enforcement officers, they're mentors, role models, and trusted members of our school community.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5, beginning at approximately 5:00 PM, you’ll receive one of our favorite back-to-school traditions—your child’s class placement phone call and email from their new teacher! 📞✉️

During the call, your child’s teacher will:
✨ Welcome them to their class for the 2026–2027 school year
🏫 Share their classroom number
👋 Provide Meet & Greet details and timing

We know this special tradition helps build excitement and gives students a warm, personal welcome before the first day of school.

We can’t wait to welcome our Dolphins and their families back to KES for another incredible year of learning, growth, and community.
