Valentine's Day is coming and we want to provide 525 kindness notes to put into the produce bundles for their deliveries that week. Just a quick note saying "Happy Valentine's Day", "You are loved" or "Someone is thinking of you", for example. It will take but a moment to complete and will brighten someone's day. ❤️⠀

Contact Michelle Smith at [email protected] for more details. The deadline for turning in the notes is 1/27/23.⠀

"There are noble books but one wants the breath of life sometimes." - Margaret Fuller

"The Light Above: A Memoir with Margaret Fuller" by Maria Dintino eloquently intertwines both aspects into her insightful first book.

This newly released memoir beckons us to examine our life's storyline with the same compassionate honesty as the author portrays her own journey and her interpretation of the life of Margaret Fuller. The parallel stories of two intellectual and authentic women weave together a bond that is shared as individually they seek to discover their true and best selves though separated by over a hundred years. To be courageous enough to risk meaningful connections. To be the fresh and noble air that urges others forward as they shine a light toward a path of genuine self-discovery and self-love.

Join the author as she brings her artfully crafted narrative to life at a reading of "The Light Above: A Memoir with Margaret Fuller " on Monday, February 28th at 6 pm. The event will be held in the Flagler Room of Ponce De Leon Hall located at Flagler College located at 74 King Street in downtown St Augustine. The part of Margaret Fuller will be read by Cheyenne Koth. We hope to see you there.

Brava Maria! The impulse to devour reading your book in one sitting was often counterbalanced by the desire to savor it for as long as possible.

What is outside your backyard window? There's a good chance that may not be a buffalo. But this is the view from the kitchen window of Punita Patel, the creative and tenacious owner of Backyard Buffalo.⠀

If you are not familiar with the Indian inspired cuisine that is created at this small batch dairy farm, we urge you to give them a try. ⠀

Do you crave savory flavors? Rich tangy raita is made with soft yogurt cheese and vegetables and can be used for dips and spreads. ⠀

Perhaps you have a bit of a sweet tooth. ⠀
Shrikhand is a smooth and creamy yogurt style treat created with cultured milk, fresh and/or dried fruits, nuts and spices. With tantalizing options like passionfruit, blueberry, pineapple, lemon and cardamom, each spoonful is rich and delicious. ⠀

Let's not forget to mention the very popular smoothie drink with the memorable name of mango lassi plus cilantro chutney, ghee, pickled jalapeños, homemade granola...⠀

Flavor options change weekly so check the website 🐃 backyard buffalo.com. 🔗 Link in bio.⠀
